How To Check in With LATAM Airlines International?

LATAM offers a wide range of LATAM check in options so that passengers can choose the best check-in method according to their preferences. The various Latam Airlines check in options include ‘Automatic Check-In’, ‘Online / Web Check-In’, ‘Airport Check-In’. 

Automatic Check-In

• This new ‘Automatic Check In’ service of LATAM Airlines offers the easiest check-in experience because your check-in is done automatically at the time of ticket purchase, under certain conditions.
• For domestic flights, you will be checked in immediately and receive your dynamic boarding pass and for international flights, you must complete your travel information up to 72 hours before your flight to activate automatic check in LATAM. 
• At the time of Automatic Check-In, you will receive a dynamic boarding pass and before your flight, you can change your seat and add more baggage by logging in to ‘My Trips’.
• As your boarding pass is dynamic, it is continuously updated. You can check your final boarding pass 48 hours prior to flight departure. On your dynamic boarding pass, you will see the updated gate number.
• On the day of your flight, go directly to the boarding gate if you are travelling with only a cabin bag. If you have a checked bag, go to a self-service kiosk to tag your baggage and drop it off at a baggage drop counter.
• If ‘Automatic Check-In’ is not available for your flight, you can check-in online 48 before the scheduled departure of your flight or check-in directly at the airport counter or airport kiosk. 

Can I Web Check in With LATAM?

By logging in to the official website, you can complete the LATAM check in online process from the comfort of your house, even you can complete this simple check-in process from anywhere and you can relax while enjoying your Latam boarding experience.

• For domestic flights, the web check-in is available from 48 hours to 60 minutes before the scheduled departure of your flight. 
• For international flights, the LATAM web check-in is available from 96 hours to 120 minutes before the scheduled departure of flight. 

The terms and conditions of the LATAM web check-in are : 

• You can complete the LATAM Airlines check in process on latamairlines.com by clicking on the ‘check-in’ tab on the homepage. 
• After clicking on ‘Check-In’, you will receive your boarding pass on your mail id. 
• The web check-in does not allow the reservation of emergency exit seats. For the security and boarding clearance, you have to provide your boarding pass. 

These following passengers are not eligible for LATAM online check-in process : 

• Unaccompanied Minors.
• Passengers who request for special service or special seats.
• Passengers with visual or hearing impairments.
• Passengers with discounted and promotional fares are not eligible for web check-in. 
• Bookings with more than 9 passengers in the flight booking.

Note : Keep in mind that it is not possible to make changes after completing the LATAM check in process. 

Important points to remember while travelling within Brasil

• LATAM check in online doesn’t allow you to cancel your seat bookings. 
• If you have a checked bag, arrive at the baggage drop off counter at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight, at the same time, you have to show your photo identity. 
• Passengers should be presented at the boarding gate at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight. If a passenger arrives after the gate closes then no-show will be applied. 

Can Mobile Check-In For LATAM Flights?

You can easily make LATAM check in through the official mobile app of the airline. Read below to know the procedure : 

• The mobile check-in is available from 48 hours to 60 minutes before the scheduled departure for domestic flights. 
• For the international flights, the mobile check-in is available from 48 hours to 120 minutes before the scheduled departure. 

Can I Check In At The Airport For LATAM Flight?

If you don’t prefer checking-in online or you don’t want to explore the automatic check-in option, there is nothing to worry about because you can complete the LATAM check in process directly at the airport. You must arrive at the airport a certain amount of time before your scheduled departure to complete the check-in process. If you are travelling within Brazil, you have to arrive at the airport 60 minutes before the departure, if you’re travelling  to / from destinations outside Brazil, then, you have to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight. 

When Can I Check Into My LATAM Flight at the Airport?

Nota :  LATAM Airlines Check In and arrival times are determined by the individual airline for flights operated by other airlines, including codeshare partners. Keep in mind that you cannot check baggage more than 4 hours before departure when flying from :

• La Paz, Bolivia
• Cali, Colombia
• San Jose, Costa Rica 
• Havana, Cuba
• Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
